Free New Year’s Eve Feed From Times Square Available Again
The co-organizers of the famous New York New Year’s Ball Drop — Countdown Entertainment and the Times Square Alliance — are once again offering free, HD satellite/fiber feeds and an embeddable webcast of the celebration from Times Square, New York, as well as content featuring behind-the-scenes preparations leading up to the big night (beginning today with content posted highlighting the arrival of the annual Wishing Wall).
The Dec. 31 live feeds are clean and uninterrupted with no bug, logo or commercials. They are available free to domestic and international media organizations and will feature exclusive panoramic views from proprietary camera locations with the ambient and natural sounds, as well as showcasing the lighting and raising of the famous New Year’s Ball, hourly countdowns, live musical performances, special guests and more.
The event organizers have also partnered again with Livestream to offer an international webcast of the event. Host Jonathan Bennett, with co-host Jeremy Hassell and street correspondents, will provide live, commercial-free coverage leading up to the Ball Drop at midnight. The webcast is available for media outlets, webmasters and bloggers to embed on their own websites and social media pages.
Information for all of these assets is available here.
