Donald Trump is still very angry over the erroneous reporting about the financial losses at his Twitter clone, Truth Social, and in a new lawsuit filed Monday, the ex-president claimed that the reports were actually a vast media conspiracy involving “no less than 20 major media outlets.”

He will be responsible for managing the advertising sales team building strategies for the site as well as overseeing the growth of the business footprint across advocacy and corporate environmental, social and governance initiatives.

NewsNation today announced that chief Washington correspondent Blake Burman will take over as permanent moderator of the newly launched 5 o’clock weekday political program The Hill. He will begin his new role on Tuesday, September 5. Additionally, Mr. Burman will continue to report on the latest in politics from Washington, D.C., according to a NewsNation press release.

Cherie Grzech, VP of news and managing editor of Nexstar’s NewsNation, shares the importance of the network’s recent expansion to 24 hours of news each weekday and its two new state-of-the-art studios in New York. Nexstar is bringing together two of its prized properties this spring with the debut of a daily The Hill program on NewsNation. Chairman-CEO Perry Sook revealed that the previously discussed series based on the political news outlet, acquired by Nexstar in 2021 for $130 million, will premiere in April and run Monday-Friday.

The veteran news executive will oversee Nexstar Media’s national digital news programming.

The growing broadcast group’s leader, Perry Sook, is spending $130 million on D.C.-based political news operation The Hill in his latest bid to expand into national news. I’m guessing that Sook is not done with his news-empire building. And what he needs (other than a dual revenue stream for The Hill) is a business site.

The purchase of the national political platform “complements Nexstar’s leading digital platform,” the company said.

The Hill, a D.C.-based digital and print publication, is being more aggressively shopped by its owner Jimmy Finkelstein, sources tell Axios, including holding recent talks with broadcasting giant Nexstar Media Group.
